Kubrick hosts the inaugural Industry Spring Social for their client, Alumni, and partner communities.

LONDON, MARCH 24 – Kubrick welcomed over 150 members of their extensive Alumni, partner, and client communities for an evening of celebration. Hosted at London’s Eight Club Moorgate, guests had the opportunity to get to know Kubrick’s rapidly growing Alumni Network and connect with fellow members of the data and technology industry from across sectors.

The event was punctuated by a welcome address by Kubrick Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Simon Walker, who shared insights on Kubrick’s plans for growth, as well as plans for extending the development and upskilling opportunities available to Alumni throughout their careers after leaving Kubrick.

"What makes Kubrick truly special is the community we have built around it", said Simon. "We are uniquely positioned to grow a network of data and technology experts who connect with each other, the clients they support, the organisations with which they become permanent employees, and the technology partners we utilise to deliver cutting-edge training and projects. Hosting our first Industry Spring Social was a significant milestone for both Kubrick and for me as a business leader – to be able to gather members from all these corners of our community and shine a spotlight on how far our Alumni have come already was a great source of pride, hope, and opportunity. As Kubrick evolves, our intention is to become a learning partner for life, not just for the few years our consultants stay with us. That journey begins here.”

Simon was joined by Robin Sutara, Chief Data Officer at Microsoft UK and Payal Jain, Chair of Women in Data, for a keynote on the power of partnerships to improve diversity and inclusion in the technology workforce. As a collective of mutual partners, Kubrick, Microsoft, and Women in Data are a resource for supporting client organizations to prioritize DEI on their agendas, as well as encourage Kubrick Alumni as future leaders to use their platforms to share their personal stories and experiences.

Reflecting on the event, Robin said, “What a great evening of connection and collaboration between Microsoft, Women in Data, Kubrick, and our many partners. It was wonderful to finally have a chance to meet face to face and continue the conversations on making an impact for our current and future talent pipelines.”

Other partners who joined Microsoft and Women in Data included Collibra, TigerGraph, and Databricks. Many thanks to all those who attended from across the Kubrick network – you can find the highlights of the night below:
