15 weeks of bespoke, salaried training
Your journey with Kubrick begins with an intensive 15-week salaried training programme. You’ll join a cohort of fellow consultants, learning foundational and specialist data and AI skills, through a mix of instructor-led sessions, self-study, and hands-on application.
Weeks 1-5: Data fundamentals
You'll start by mastering essential skills and foundational knowledge to prepare you for success in the data field.
weeks 6-10: practice training
Dive deeper into in-demand technologies and topics related to your assigned practice area, ensuring you're equipped with the sought-after skills to excel on client projects.
weeks 11-15: PROJECT SIMULATION OR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Apply your skills to practical, industry-relevant project simulations, or spend time up-skilling in specific areas (as directed by us) to ensure you are prepared to hit the ground running from day one.
Guaranteed exposure to client engagements
Once you've successfully completed the initial 15 weeks of training, we’ll assign you to a client engagement, where you'll put your newly acquired skills into practice on real-world projects. Our clients operate across diverse industries, including retail, banking, pharmaceuticals, and more, meaning the types of projects you’ll work on will vary in scope and complexity, as will the length of each engagement.
We’re committed to your continued development, and our Resource Management team carefully select engagements that not only challenge you but also offer meaningful opportunities for growth through hands-on experience.
Please note that as our clients are based across the UK, we do require geographic flexibility.
Continuous support and development
During training and between client engagements
During training, our Resource Management and Training team will be on-hand to guide you both professionally and technically, ensuring you are prepared for client engagements and Kubrick Innovators (if between engagements).
The Resource Management team are also responsible for assigning you to client engagements, and they will work closely with you to ensure your placement suits your skills and will help you accelerate.
DURING CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS
Once assigned to a client engagement, you will also be assigned a Head of Success who will support you throughout and aid your ongoing development via regular check-ins with you and your client line manager.
As well as regular check-ins, you can reach out to your assigned Head of Success at any point, and can also escalate any queries to our HR department if you are in need of additional support.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT
Throughout your employment, you'll be empowered to seek out and make use of opportunities that will build your skills and understanding, and help you realise your potential. You’ll have access to technical accreditations through our wide range of tech partners, helping you stand out in the market and take your career to the next level.
We also have a variety of internal Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and networks that consultants can join to enhance their experience at Kubrick. To learn more about our ERGs, click here.
Global mobility

Access to Kubrick Innovators
As a consultant, there may be periods where you are between client engagements. During this time, you’ll have opportunities to work on Kubrick Innovators. These projects are designed to help clients ideate and test the viability of a solution before moving into full delivery. They're great for consultants too as you’ll get to work across a wider array of projects, hone your skills in new areas, and build your network.

Our culture

Hear from some of our consultants

Isabel Becker
I studied English Literature at The University of Leeds. Coming from a non-stem background, everything I am learning at Kubrick as a Data Management Consultant is new to me. For the first time, I am being taught how to code, about current industry-standard data management software, and about digital compliance, all whilst strengthening my communication, presentation, and comprehension skills.

Oscar Hansen
I joined Kurbick as a Data Product Consultant in February 2020. Prior to this, I studied Music at The University of Oxford. Kubrick are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere for everyone, focusing on ethnic diversity, representation of women, and mental health. Without the 15 weeks of training, I probably would never have learned coding from scratch, but now I feel like a confident coder in both Python and SQL.

Nikita Mandavia
I joined Kubrick as a Data Management Consultant after graduating from Loughborough University with a master’s degree in Physics. The Kubrick team is highly diverse and supportive - people come from all kinds of academic and professional background and are always ready to offer advice and perspective to help consultants ease into the workforce.
