The solution

Kubrick's Defect Resolution AI Assistant expedites the process of defect diagnosis and resolution while anticipating and optimizing maintenance work that minimized the risk of out-of-service events. To do this we:

- Implemented Medallion Architecture and Unity Catalog with Databricks to combine data from across siloed sources, including issue and defect logs, maintenance manuals, live aircraft data, and supply and inventory data.

- Used cutting-edge AI models to analyze and create context-aware recommendations on the most effective fixes.

- Integrated with a user-friendly AI chatbot with Databricks Genie to enable maintenance workers to source accurate resolutions instantly.

- Provided a dashboard suite to enable enhanced reporting and compliance on fleet status.
