Kubrick's very own Mental Health First Aiders share their insights on supporting mental well health and wellbeing in the modern workplace.

In February's edition of Kubrick Voices, host Camilla Dickson is joined by Victoria Baark, Associate Success Manager, and John Coughlan, Principal Consultant in Data Analytics at Kubrick, who are both certified Mental Health First Aiders and leaders in Kubrick's Mental Wellbeing Initiative. They sit down to discuss the responsibilities of organizations in today's working culture towards supporting mental wellbeing - and the benefits we all gain from it.

Victoria, who first established the program in response to the heightened need for communication and support from consultants at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, reflects on her experiences supporting consultants professionally and personally as part of the Consultant Success Team and her decision to train and build a team of Mental Health First Aiders as another form of critical contact in the remote/hybrid working world.

As a member of the Training Team, John is a first port of call for many Kubrick consultants for support in their technical training during their first 15 weeks at Kubrick. He shares his experiences of helping to shape the careers of our consultants, many of whom are in the very first job after graduation, and the importance of mental wellbeing at this often intense period in their working life.

Many thanks to both Victoria and John for sharing their Kubrick Voices. You can listen to this episode of Kubrick Voices and other episodes on Spotify.
